My work concerns research on causal inference in time series and its application to various fields such as disease dynamics, climate and financial markets.
I know, I am working on that.

I am Adrian Pelcaru, a theoretical physics PhD student at the Technical University Dresden. I graduated from the Humboldt University Berlin, and come from a biology and theoretical biophysics background.
My research revolves around Causal Inference in linear, nonlinear and chaotic time series, where I aim to develop new methods. On the applied side of things, I am interested in spread of infectious diseases, human mobility and environmental drivers thereof.
I also enjoy visualizing my work, thus bringing people close to the core principles of the methods or findings.
